Why I Started a Motorcycle Podcast as a Brand New Rider - She Shifts Official Podcast Ep. 1

In the very first episode of She Shifts Official Podcast, I'm introducing myself and the brand I'm building because the content I was desperately searching for simply doesn't exist.

I'm 31, a homeschooling stay-at-home mom of three kids and brand new to motorcycles. Like, really new. As in, I bought a Yamaha R3 a full month before I even had my license.

It all started in August 2025 with a procrastination session, an open ChatGPT tab, and one very important question: could I be a biker girl?

I talk about why I started this podcast, who it's for, and what I kept running into when I went looking for a mom's honest take on picking up motorcycles as a hobby: nothing. Outdated blogs, abandoned websites, and zero audio from women actually in the thick of it.

This show is my answer to that gap.

If you're moto-curious, newly licensed, wrestling with the mom guilt, or just finally claiming a little something for yourself — you found your people.

We're not the anomaly. We're the trend.
